Heritage School Winners at ACSI Art Contest 2015
What is ACSI? The Association of Christian Schools International is a worldwide community uniquely positioned to deliver the message of Christ through education! There are more than 5, 000 schools in 100 countries. There are more than 1.2 million students taught by at least 70,000 teachers and administrators. Heritage has participated in the ACSI Art events for many years.
On Thursday and Friday, February 27th through 28th, Mrs. McComack took 20 artworks from the Upper School, grades 6th through 12th to the ACSI contest at the San Antonio Christian School on Redlands Drive. This art contest included many schools from the San Antonio and surrounding areas. Every student who had a piece in the show are truly winners because their artwork was chosen from hundreds of pieces of art! We were only allowed to bring two or three artworks from each grade level, which was a very difficult decision for Mrs. Mac to make! She wanted to take many more artworks than that! The following art students won ACSI awards. Please stop by to view the Art display area at the Herzog Hall to see these students’ artworks! The Heritage ACSI Artworks were:
